Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team to help achieve company sales goals. This role is responsible for managing sales documentation, coordinating customer inquiries, tracking orders, maintaining CRM records, preparing reports, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with daily administrative and operational activities.
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate entry into company systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding products, pricing, order status, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts and sales records in the CRM system.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, contracts, and presentations.
  • Generate and distribute sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and sales events.
  • Track sales targets and assist in monitoring team performance.
  • Follow up with customers regarding orders, payments, and service issues.
  • Assist with inventory coordination and product availability inquiries.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure all sales documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, administrative support, or a related role.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Time management and prioritization abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
