Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks, test suites, and tools to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.
  • Validate features end to end: requirements analysis, test planning, test case creation, automation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to identify quality gaps and proactively address risks early in the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices across test automation, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility (WCAG), performance testing, and release quality gates.
  • Identify, triage, and track defects; facilitate root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain QA documentation, test strategies, and reporting dashboards.

AI-First QA Expectations

  • Leverage AI-assisted tools and techniques to improve QA productivity, including automated test generation, accessibility validation, faster debugging, and improved defect detection.
  • Apply an AI-first mindset to testing workflows: generating test cases, improving test coverage, validating outputs, and optimizing regression testing processes.
  • Follow enterprise security, compliance, and data privacy guidelines when using AI tools, ensuring protection of sensitive information and adherence to approved systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including automation and manual testing.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience identifying and reporting ADA compliance issues.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and modern development workflows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and actionable defect reports and test documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate for quality and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Experience working with cloud-based applications or enterprise platforms is preferred.
