Position Summary

The Sales Support Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team to help achieve company sales goals. This role manages sales documentation, coordinates customer inquiries, tracks orders, maintains CRM records, prepares reports, and supports effective communication between customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to the sales team.

  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate, timely entry into company systems.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting to support timely order fulfillment.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, invoices, and delivery schedules.

  • Maintain accurate customer account information, contact records, and sales activity in the CRM system.

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, contracts, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.

  • Generate and distribute sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.

  • Schedule sales meetings, customer appointments, and sales events.

  • Track sales targets and assist with monitoring team performance.

  • Follow up with customers regarding orders, payments, delivery issues, and service concerns.

  • Assist with inventory coordination and respond to product-availability inquiries.

  • Support onboarding activities for new customers and help maintain positive customer relationships.

  • Ensure sales documentation is complete, accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • One to three years of experience in sales support, customer service, administrative support, or a related position.

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organization, time-management, and multitasking abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving, customer-service, and follow-up skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a high-volume or fast-paced sales organization.

  • Working knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management practices.

  • Experience with order-management, inventory-management, or ERP systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
